Q: What is this about? What's the
purpose of this site?
A: This is one of the many ways that we can share the love
we have for the Father, for Christ, and for the Holy Spirit. As a newly ordained
priest, the only one I regularly hear preaching is myself. Nothing
wrong with that because God speaks to me first to speak through me... and while
preaching is a two-edged sword (the message is not just for the people, it's for
the priest pre-eminently!), I want to hear what God is saying through my brother
priests. I want to hear the Word of God explained through my brother priests in
their homilies, in their talks. I want to hear what God is saying to His people!
I love to hear the message that He gives to each and everyone of us. I hope that
you too will benefit from this and that your heart will be drawn closer to our
Lord's Most Divine and Sacred Heart. The website is a work in progress,
but I wanted to at least have the core materials present online for those
interested in it.
Q: Who are you?
A: We are the ordinandi class of
'09, celebrating our priesthood in the Year of the Priests! What a great year to
be a priest! Four of us are with the Archdiocese of Detroit, and one is from the
Diocese of Lansing (but we won't hold that against him!). I always had a
fascination with working on websites, working with media, editing videos, and so
forth... I hope this is enriching for you as it has been for us!
